My Favorite Workout/Fitness Program – Love Sweat Fitness

There are so many workout programs available today—it can be overwhelming to know which ones to try! A few years ago, I discovered my favorite workout program and app, and it quickly became a game-changer. Love Sweat Fitness, created by certified personal trainer Katie Dunlop, is more than just a fitness brand—it’s an inspiring community. Katie’s personal journey led her to start Love Sweat Fitness, and even though I’ve never met her, following her content over the years has made me feel like I have! I reached out to Love Sweat Fitness for permission to share what I love about their brand and products, and they graciously agreed—so stay tuned for more on why this program has been such a positive part of my fitness journey!

How to Find the Workout Program for You

My goal was to reduce my sugar intake and “trim” down, but finding the right program felt overwhelming. With so many workout options and differing opinions on health and wellness—strength training vs. cardio, meditation, counting macros vs. intuitive eating, high-carb vs. low-carb, protein intake, supplements, protein powders—it was hard to know where to start!

Then I discovered Love Sweat Fitness on YouTube, and Katie immediately stood out as personable and relatable. The way she talked about nutrition just clicked with me, and I’ve been following her workouts and nutritional advice ever since! She has taught me so much about balanced nutrition and how to incorporate healthier habits into my daily routine. Thanks to her tips, I’ve made great progress toward my goals and continue to build on them.

That said, even with all these great tools, my sweet tooth still gets the best of me! Thankfully, Katie shares so many delicious, healthy alternatives that help me curb cravings—and yes, even resist my beloved Peanut M&M’s!

The Love Sweat Fitness workouts are in an app that makes working out so simple by laying out your daily workouts based on your fitness level. Each day, it tells you which muscle group you’ll be focusing on and provides specific exercises to follow. On cardio days, you can choose from a variety of cardio workouts within the app or do your own thing.

One of my favorite features is the free Daily 10 workouts—quick, effective routines that are great if you’re short on time or just want to stay consistent. Most days, I do both the Daily 10 and the suggested workout. I also love mixing things up with workouts from other fitness instructors—and of course, adding in Zumba on my cardio days for extra fun!

5 Tips to Find the “Right” Workout/Fitness Program

Following are some tips that helped me find my fitness program of choice:

  • Identify your goal and the “WHY” behind your goal. This will help filter out programs and instructors that aren’t the right fit for you.
  • Decide whether you want to workout at home or in person (or even virtually with someone online).
  • Once you find someone, talk with them or spend time watching their content to see if you resonate with them and find them inspirational.
  • Sign up for a free trial of the program/content if one is available. I signed up for a number of free trials of workout apps before I decided on Love Sweat Fitness which proved to be helpful.
  • Don’t be afraid to leverage multiple apps and programs if one might not offer all you need.

Katie also creates multiple fitness challenges throughout the year and the Spring Slim Down is the current challenge! My picture for this blog is from another challenge I joined as part of the Love Sweat Fitness community. I find them helpful to reset throughout the year and ensure I don’t lose focus on my health and fitness goals!
